It all begins with Petr, an architect, and the waning sexual interest of Dohnal, a corrupt politician and former classmate. With Petr's assistance, Dohnal rapes a young vet named Lenka. However, using her professional skills, Lenka anaesthetises both men and expertly castrates them.

All three are then caught in an escalating spiral of problems. Dohnal tries to cover the whole thing up from the public, Petr struggles to fend off the overt advances of women, and Lenka suffers a breakdown. This is triggered by her boyfriend, an environmental activist named Michal, who first hurts her with his insensitive attitude, then betrays her by becoming her best friend Anna's lover. Finally, he ruthlessly attempts to use Lenka's rape to blackmail Dohnal – now the Deputy Minister for the Environment – to prevent the construction of a new motorway bypass.
