Travelling Souls

An 840-kilometre pilgrimage across the magical Pyrenees, from a hiker's high to post-trail blues. The desire to explore is as old as humanity itself. It compels us to pack our rucksacks and set off on an adventure. But what if the greatest adventure is an encounter with your own soul? Against the backdrop of an 840-kilometre pilgrimage across the magical Pyrenees, the author tells a story about the power of childhood dreams, the ups and downs of the trail and of life, about friendship, freedom, mountains, fear, courage, and love. What kind of crazy situations can you experience on the trail? How can such a journey change your perspective on life and on yourself? Can you fall in love on it? And what if you fall in love with yourself? With humour and depth, Soul on the Trail reveals that every journey outwards is, above all, a journey inwards. The greatest treasure is finding yourself, and the greatest challenge is dealing with the fact that, upon your return, you are no longer “that girl from the trail.” Do not underestimate the power of your dreams. Everything you have ever longed for is waiting beyond the boundary of your fear. This recording is based on the book Soul on the Trail by Martina Merisi, published by JOTA Publishing House in 2024.
