True Confessions - DVD

DVD Film - An ambitious priest clashes with his brother, a cynical Los Angeles detective investigating the brutal murder of a young prostitute. In 1948, the prudent and ambitious priest Monsignor Desmond Spellacy, working under the orders of the enterprising Cardinal Danaher, becomes involved in church-sponsored development projects. These are very lucrative for the local Catholic diocese. Desmond has a somewhat strained relationship with his abrasive and short-tempered older brother, LAPD Detective Tom Spellacy, who was once in the employ of corrupt builder Jack Amsterdam.
