Tučný Michal: Best Of (2x CD) - CD

The only "Best Of" collection of unedited hits!

This new compilation features the most successful songs from the legacy of what is arguably the biggest star in our music, a blend of country and pop! Selected by Mirek Černý, the collection begins with the Greenhorns and covers the entire period of Tučný's time at the top of the domestic music scene.

Almost fifty unabridged and remastered tracks, this collection doesn't miss anything essential, but it also doesn't just duplicate previous titles of a similar nature. Fans get Michal Tučný just as they love him, and a bonus insightful text looking back at the singer and the man, MT.

This isn't just "another" compilation; this is a continuation of the informal Supraphon series, bringing together on 2CDs the maximum that best symbolises the phenomenon of artists, decades after the songs were created, often at a time when many of the songs would otherwise be gathering dust.

This Michal Tučný selection is an attractive tribute to lasting quality and a beautiful memory of a singer whose name and persona have become synonymous with an entire genre.
