Tučný Michal: Snídaně v trávě – LP

A Czech country legend on a legendary album! This is a re-release of the hit 1993 country compilation.

While there are many compilations of Michal Tučný's (1947–1995) greatest hits, this one is particularly special as it was created during his lifetime and with his personal involvement.
The recordings, spanning the years 1980 to 1989, capture the singer in a modern, electrified style that moves away from traditional western music towards modern country.

His previous brilliant collaborations with various bands are certainly not forgotten, but this collection of songs, featuring superb backing from Tučňáci, showcases him at the peak of his solo career. It highlights his strong artistic and personal partnership with Zdeněk Rytíř, who wrote his down-to-earth lyrics, alongside those written by Tučný himself, Miroslav Černý, Vladimír Poštulka, and Michal Horáček. The vast majority of these melodies are absolute treasures of Czech and Slovak music. His perfectly delivered slogans have become household words, and Michal Tučný, in his signature denim dungarees, remains an iconic figure of our popular music. This collection of songs clearly demonstrates why.

With new audio remastering, optimising the LP running time for maximum listening pleasure!
