Thank you for your interest in the Fundamentals of Ukrainian A1-A2 listening course. The course is designed for complete beginners who need to communicate with Ukrainian-speaking people. The course is based on contextual learning, which means that you will learn not only words, but also sentences in which you can use the words. In this course you will find a total of 1100 vocabulary words and practice sentences. The individual lessons are divided by topic, each containing a different number of words and sentences. From the very basics through activities, housing, numbers, communication, mini-dialogues to family and properties. If you do not know Cyrillic, you will find it more difficult to enter Ukrainian than those who have learned Russian. Therefore, at the very beginning of the course you will find a mini-course on learning the Ukrainian alphabet with example words and phrases How to work best with the course? Choose the lesson you want to start. Each lesson contains six tracks. First, for each lesson, familiarize yourself with the actual vocabulary (clues 1 and 2). Next, you have a vocabulary word followed by an example sentence, again in both translation variants (track 3 and 4). Then you move on to complete sentences (tracks 5 and 6). As soon as you can translate the sentences from English into Ukrainian (lesson 6) in the pause before the Ukrainian translation, you have won. The words alone will help you to understand the meaning, but you will communicate much better with whole sentences.
