Ursiny Dežo, Štrpka Ivan: On the Way Home - LP

On the Way Home is the eighth studio album by Dez Ursiny, originally released in 1987. Ursiny was in his peak creative period at the time, with poet Ivan Štrpka and the Provisorium group at its best (Filip-Kaššay-Stankovský-Kroczek and Jiří Stivín as a guest). All of this has translated into a unique artistic statement that has a typically Ursinyan power, urgency and originality. The album consists of two extended versions of the title track On the Way Home, which are accompanied by the shorter tracks Dry Rain and Invisible Singer.

PROVISORIUM group in the cast: Dežo Ursiny (solo vocal, guitar, group leader), Jaroslav Filip (keyboards), Vladimir Kassay (bass guitar), Lubomir Stankovsky (percussion, percussion), Richard Kroczek (violin), Jiří Stivín and. h. (tenor saxophone, flute)
