USS Indianapolis: Fight for Survival - DVD

II. World War II is coming to an end, and the warship USS Indianapolis is still secretly carrying one of two atomic bombs that could end the rage of war. However, the Japanese attacked and sank the heavy cruiser. The USS Indianapolis mission was classified so strictly that no one missed the ship, and information about its attack was not released until four days later.
Almost 300 crew members out of a total of 1197 immediately drowned. The remaining survivors of the USS Indianapolis are stranded in the waters of the Philippine Sea, where they suffered from hunger, thirst, heat and hallucinations while resisting relentless shark attacks. Only 317 men survived the suffering, which lasted five days.
