Vampire Academy - DVD

Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir: half human, half vampire. Dhampirs serve as guardians to the Moroi, a race of peaceful, mortal vampires who live discreetly within our world. The mission of the Dhampirs is to protect the Moroi from the bloodthirsty Strigoi vampires. Dhampir Rose and her friend, Moroi princess Lissa, experience various adventures together, testing the strength of their friendship while suffering and losing the people they love. This film tells their story. Moroi princess Lissa and her best friend Rose fled the Vampire Academy in mortal fear, but after two years, they are tracked down by mysterious guardians and dragged back. They once again find themselves in immense danger, as the deadly Strigoi can roam the academy grounds. The Strigoi want to destroy Lissa because, as the only daughter of a noble Moroi family, she stands in the way of their plan to rule the vampire world. Fortunately, Dhampir Rose is there to help. With a mix of human and vampire blood in her veins, she is better equipped to face the evil Strigoi. However, navigating the temptations and betrayals within the academy's mysterious and gloomy world will not be easy. Lissa must use her supernatural abilities with greater caution to avoid falling into a Strigoi trap, while Rose has to give up a great love to protect her friend and not let her down under any circumstances. The only thing they can both rely on is their bond with each other—their friendship.
