Various Artists: Greatest Eighties Album (4x CD) - CD

Kate Bush is one of the most remarkable women in music history. In 1978, when she was nineteen, she occupied the top of the singles chart in England for four weeks with her debut single Wuthering Heights. Never before has a singer written the song herself first.

Two years later, she conquered the island album chart with Never For Ever and became the first British solo performer to do so.
Thirteen times she was nominated for the annual Brit Awards, the statue was awarded in 1987. Three times she was on the list of Grammy nominees, she received the prestigious
Ivor Novello Award for authors.

The talented singer was discovered by family friend David Gilmour from Pink Floyd. Enchanted by her amateur demos, he rented a studio and recorded three songs with sixteen-year-old Kate, helping her to a publishing contract with EMI.

Kate Bush later collaborated with a number of other celebrities, most notably her duet Don' t Give Up with Peter Gabriel.
As part of a major catalog campaign, all of Kate Bush' s studio albums are remastered for the first time and re-released on CD and LP in a new sound form.
In addition, a number of rare, as yet unreleased recordings are available. The albums are released in four vinyl boxes, two CD boxes and individually in two waves.
