World composers, top Czech performers and quality recordings.

After more than eighty years, Supraphon revives the historical sublabel ARTONA and publishes another title on it: Festive moments with classical music.

ARTONA was originally a secondary label of the record company ULTRAPHON, the predecessor of today' s SUPRAPHON publishing house. This brand first appeared on gramophone records in the spring of 1932 with the addition of the name “domestic product“. The main reason for the introduction of this secondary label was Ultraphon' s effort to come up with recordings that will appeal to the general public with their content and price. Supraphon is now introducing this sublabel for a special edition of compilations that will delight especially lovers of the most famous and popular melodies that classical music has to offer.
