Various: Mahler Contemporaries - CD

A live recording from the Mahler Jihlava 2014 festival brings an unrecorded composition by J. B. Foerstra “Stabat mater“ and little known songs of contemporaries by Gustav Mahler - C. Goldmarka, H. Wolfa, A. Schoenberga, R. Strausse, H. Rotta, A. Diepenbrocka, J. B. Foerstra and Bruno Walter. The recordings were made by the excellent choir “Campanula“ and singers who won awards at the international singing competition in Karlovy Vary.
