Various: Štěpán Filípek 9 - CD

For the cellist and composer Štěpán Filípek, the interpretation of compositions by female composers became one of the main focuses of his solo recording activities at the end of the second decade of the 21st century. An important initial impetus that eventually led to the release of 9,was the initiative of Czech Radio dramaturge Martin Klusák, who in 2019 was preparing a specialised programme about female composers for the Czech Radio Vltava station. For this occasion he approached Štěpán Filípek to record Ivana Loudová's Canto Amoroso. Subsequently, a several-year intensive project developed, culminating in the release of a new CD.
