Veterinarian and dog stories

Take another peek into the magical and unforgettable world of James Herriot, the world's most popular vet.

A dog is man's best friend. James Herriot knows this too, so it's no wonder he returns to these furry friends in his next book. In The Veterinarian and Dog Stories you will find fifty stories that will both amuse and move you, and are a selection of the best of what the author has written about dogs.

Herriot's deep compassion, honesty, humour and love of life, both human and animal, radiate from the first to the last page of his books. The British series All Creatures Great and Small was based on his works, which has had four series so far and can be seen on Czech television.
