Videodrome - Blu-ray

Videodrome is an imaginary highlight of Cronenberg's early work, in which he already in 1983 was able to foreshadow how virtual reality can merge with reality to the point of literally devouring people. It stars rock star Deborah Harry (in her first major film) in one of the lead roles and James Woods as a programmer looking for the best of the audience experience. Special make-up effects were created by seven-time Academy Award(R) winner* Rick Baker. Get ready for a pulse-pounding science fiction nightmare about a world where video can control and change people's lives.
