Visiting professors

School is a game, and it's also the foundation of life. But even an expert would be amazed at how they teach here... When a sedentary teacher, Philip Swallow from the University of Papridge in England, finds himself on a semester-long stay in Euphoria, California, and overseas teaching ace Morris Zapp lands in his chair for a change, the fun is taken care of. Under the baton of a classic of the university novel genre, things start happening in both cities that make the layman wonder, the expert marvel and the audience giggle. The honourable gentlemen in the host country will lay bare their cultural and family backgrounds, themselves, and the full range of comical antics of British and American intellectuals. Universities may be, according to David Lodge, "cathedrals of the modern age" in whose professorial rituals the outside world has no say, but if the sexual revolution of 1969 is raging, why rot in ivory towers of academia? Performers: Jaromír Dulava, Jan Vondráček, Jitka Ježková, Klára Sedláčková Oltová.
