Vojtech Szabó Jazz Band: Szabotage - CD

Vojtech Szabó is undoubtedly one of the top European performers in accordion playing, which his second album Szabotage, following on from the first Play accordion from 2018, more than confirms.
In his hands, the instrument comes to life with an incredible range of captivating tones, alternating colours and tempos to bring the listener to the ultimate enjoyment of music.
He is also increasingly asserting himself as an author and arranger. Three of his melodies will be heard on the Szabotage CD, in addition to the title track, also Song for Julie dedicated to his wife and Little 5/4 samba written for his daughter. The whole album is performed in modern arrangements, but while maintaining Vojtech' s virtuosity, and thus has the opportunity to attract a wider audience than just fans of classical, often difficult to digest jazz.
The accompanying band agrees with Vojtech in an ideal harmony and together with their instrumental abilities they also supply the classic D standards. Ellington or D. Gillespie' s new, original dimension.
