Vondráčková Helena: Dávno vím svý - CD

Helena Vondráčková filmed an intimate testimony of ten chapters. The chamber album is chanson-like and lets the singer's singing qualities shine through. For the album, the artist invited a new team from a seemingly different artistic category. Musical production and two compositions (The Pianist, Dove in the Passage) were provided by Armin Effenberger, who has contributed extensively to e.g. on last year's successful comeback of Ocean. The artistic production and several compositions (Black Swans, Burning in My Arms, Apple), including the vast majority of the lyrics, were written by Jan Dvořák, known primarily for his collaboration with Petr Muk. Three compositions (Oči, Čínská zeď, Raining like in the film) were contributed by jazz musician and composer Matej Benko, who pleasantly surprised us with his album Planety the year before. One song (Dávno vím svý) was written by traditional Helen's authors Ondřej Gregor Brzobohatý and Václav Kopta. The grand finale of the album was provided by Ondřej Soukup and Gabriela Osvaldová, who wrote the very first song for Helena (I lose my head with you).

Helena Vondráčková, singer, dancer, tap dancer and actress, has been one of the absolute leaders of the Czech music scene for several decades. However, her territory has extended far beyond the borders of the country - she has celebrated success in many countries on several continents and is a regular guest on Slovak and Polish stages. Her film credits are also significant and her musical roles (most recently the upcoming production of Webber's Cats in Pilsen) play a significant role in her career. The singer with a reputation as a consummate professional and perfectionist will celebrate a significant anniversary this year.
