Vondrackova Helena: Kvitek mandragory (2x CD) - CD

A complete set of all songs from the musical of the same name.

Prague musical show by producer Oldřich Lichtenberg, The Mandrake Flower is based on the songs of Helena Vondráčková. It's actually a kind of best of the singer's recordings from her whole career.
From the girlish, actually still teenage Red River, through the great themes from the turn of the sixties and seventies and the extremely popular songs from the following decades, to the comeback breakthrough Long Night, this is an important piece of the history of our popular music.
