Vondráčková Helena: Tvrdohlavá - CD

This album of original songs was produced by Kája Mařík, who also composed half of the music and co-wrote the lyrics for one song with Oldřich Krejčovs. For her other tracks, she entrusted lyricist Josef Peterka. Other composers the singer collaborated with include Ondřej Soukup, Lešek Wronka, Václav Noid Bárta, Vašo Patejdl, Lucia Šoralová, and Jakub Lenz (aka Robin Mood). The line-up of lyricists features the accomplished Jan Krůta, Gabriela Osvaldová, Tomáš Belko, Petr Šiška, and Miro Jurika.

As a bonus, Tvrdohlavá includes the title song from the Czech film comedy Ženská pomsta.

Recorded with live instruments, the album showcases Helena Vondráčková's excellence across a diverse range of vocal tones and musical moods.

Singer, dancer, tap dancer, and actress Helena Vondráčková has been at the absolute pinnacle of the domestic music scene for decades. Her territory, however, extends far beyond the country's borders—she has celebrated success in many countries across several continents and is a regular guest on stages in Slovakia, Poland, and Germany.

She has starred in several successful musicals and films (most notably the TV evergreen Šíleně smutná princezna). Her latest role is that of a nurse in the film comedy Ženská pomsta.
