Voxel: Nanovo - CD

On his third album, Voxel swaps his guitar for a mandolin and has put together a band to venture into the realms of indie folk.
He is joined by Dominik Kopečný (drums, vocals), Martin “Cágo” Pohoda (bass guitar, vocals), and Jakub “Jamie” Skácelík (guitar, ukulele, vocals).

While Pokáč assisted him as a lyricist on his previous records, this time he “only” contributed to the song Ať se plní sál (Let the Hall Fill Up), with Voxel writing most of the lyrics himself. In some songs, he was supported lyrically by his friend, singer-songwriter Michal Horák. The album also includes the track Kámen a kříž (Stone and Cross), which he recorded with the band Čechomor. Karel Holas also recorded the violin part for the song O to tu de.

Voxel is one of the most distinctive musicians of the new generation. For his debut All Boom!, he received several awards, for example, becoming the Internet Star in the 2014 Český slavík poll, Óčko's Discovery of the Year for 2013, and was nominated in the Discovery of the Year category at the 2014 Anděl Awards. His second album, Motýlí efekt (The Butterfly Effect), with hits like Jednou (Once), V čase zpátky (Back in Time), and others, was also warmly received.
