In 1945, an alien ship and all its technology fell into Nazi hands on the other side of the Rhine. In a Moravia devastated by nuclear war, a doctor searches for a rare medicine. Czechoslovak bombers take off for Smolensk. A retired soldier discovers that peace can be more dangerous than any war. Beyond the borders of known space, a dangerous alien race isn't the only thing lurking – there's political conflict too. A group of hackers must defend a space station against sabotage.
Lukáš Berg, Hila Eban, Michael Kowalski and other heroes from the worlds of writer Jan Kotouč return in this cross-sectional collection of short stories, mapping the author's work over the last two decades. For the first time, stories from the military sci-fi, alternative history, post-apocalyptic, and pure fantasy genres appear in one place in an updated form. You will also find completely new stories from the author's “Hirano Sector”, “Central Empire” and “Czech Lands” universes.
