Watchmen - Watchmen - DVD

The Guardians is set in an alternate history United States of America in 1985, when the Cold War is in full swing and the world is on the brink of nuclear annihilation. The plot focuses on the stories of the individual superheroes as they investigate the murder of one of them, the Comedian.
The uncompromising Rorschach sees a vast conspiracy to eliminate or discredit former superheroes behind his death. They have long since ceased to be seen as protectors of humanity, but languish on the margins of society. Rorschach will try to mobilize them in an effort to prevent a nuclear disaster. Their goal should be to guard humanity.
