Weekly Torah Reading: the Book of Numbers

Rabbi Jonathan Sacks presents his reflections on the Book of Numbers, addressing contemporary issues against the backdrop of Old Testament texts and, conversely, explaining biblical texts with examples from today's world. As reviewers and critics mention, this is an exceptional publication that connects traditional texts with the problems of the 21st century. The author delves into a number of details while being able to translate them into parallels more understandable to the modern reader. This is the fourth book in the series of regular reflections on the themes of the weekly Torah readings, entitled Covenant & Conversation.
