Weller Paul: True Meanings - CD

True Meanings is the fourteenth solo album by the British musician and the twenty-sixth studio album of his career. Weller produced the entire album himself, with the exception of The Soul Searchers, which was helped by Conor O'Brian of the Villagers, and Movin On (co-produced by White Label). The 60-year-old was assisted by Rod Argent of the Zombies, folk legends Martin Carthy and Danny Thompson, Little Barrie and Lucy Rose, and Noel Gallagher. The album is available on 2LP and in two versions on CD. The deluxe version contains richer visual material.

Singer-songwriter Paul Weller is one of the most prominent figures on the British independent scene. His name is associated with the bands The Jam and Style Council, in which he was active in the seventies and eighties. He has been working solo since 1991. His legacy has been championed by a number of musicians and performers, including Blur and Oasis, especially during the Britpop boom.
