West, Kanye: 808s & Heartbreak - CD

Kanyi West' s new album “808s & Heartbreak ”(named after the iconic Roland TR-808 drum machine)
follows on from the year-old album “Graduation“, which became one of the most successful records of last year.

The album was released on the same day as 50 Cent' s new album “Curtis“ to create a duel between two giants of the hip hop scene, from which Kanye eventually came out victorious with its 957,000 media sold during the first week (50 Cent: 691 000). The record also won three Grammy Awards (Kanye already owns a total of 10! ).

The first single “Love Lockdown“ indicates the direction Kanye will go this time - the single does not contain any rap (! ) but only singing. As expected, he jumped to the top of the US Billboard charts immediately after the release.
