What's Whispering - DVD

Two gossips see a young man on a park bench and tell each other the young man's story. His mother Helena (J. Štěpničková) was in her youth a beautiful and vocally gifted student of the conservatory. Fellow composer Vilém Gregor (H. Haas) is platonically in love with her; Helena, however, likes the charming Martin (J. Budský), and when a situation brings them together at a graduation party, she stays with him overnight. Martin, however, leaves hurriedly for Paris the next day and gives no further news of himself. The night will not remain without consequences and Helena is saved in a desperate situation by William, who knows everything and offers to marry her. The family lives happily for eight years, but suddenly Martin appears unexpectedly.
