STORIES FROM LONDON'S TRAINS AND STATIONS

Have you ever longed to know how to stop a train? Or why so many London Transport workers go
in tattered, dirty uniforms? Wondering how to scold a person of a different skin colour and not get into trouble? These and many other questions are answered in Iva Pekárková's next book, inspired by the adventures of her early husband, a long-time employee of the London railways. The briskly written, witty and informative stories bring the reader a panopticon of characters, a plethora of stories and here and there
and some revelations.
