William Shakespeare: The Tempest

A story of love and hate, revenge and forgiveness, it tells of castaways who encounter miracles and wonders on a desert island. The play, combining high poetry with the grotesque comedy of sad clowns, shows human life as a fascinating vanity. The famous Shakespeare's The Tempest cannot be missing in the overview of radio productions of his work by director Markéta Jahodová: "I cannot forget the production of The Tempest with Boris Rösner. All of Shakespeare's plays are radio plays in the sense that the word comes first in them, to quote Martin Hilsky loosely, but in The Tempest it is prescribed directly by the author in addition: "The island is full of sounds. "What more could a radio director ask for? Vladimír Franz also composed wonderful music for me. "
