Wind Force 17

A laptop in her rucksack, a battered suitcase inherited from her mother, and AirPods in her ears. Ida is saying goodbye forever to the small town where she has spent her entire life. At the station, she chooses a train with its final stop on the island of Rügen. She throws herself into the Baltic Sea and swims until she is completely exhausted. Only then do the feelings of rage, regret, and guilt subside. When she meets the pub owner Knut and his wife Marianne, things start to look up. She gets to know the similarly wounded Leif, and suddenly everything is a little easier. But then she receives devastating news, and the pain erupts again with renewed force.
