Wirework

The second, expanded and full-colour edition of the successful publication on the popular craft brings not only little-known historical facts, but also surprising findings about the image of tinkers in contemporary literature and journalism. Above all, it presents a rich variety of new products that have been created in the last ten years in Czech craft workshops and art studios.

Their quality and variety prove that contemporary Czech wirework has become a fully-fledged artistic craft. Not only does it continue the rich tradition of Slovak and Moravian wirework, but it enriches it with an incredible number of imaginative elements. The first edition of Tinkering was an impulse for many readers to become interested in this field, the second edition brings mainly inspiration and new ideas.
