He is estranged from his daughter and is unable to maintain a real relationship.
Randy lives for the thrill of the show and the admiration of his fans. However, a heart attack forced him to retire. He slowly begins to adjust to his new situation and appreciate the state of his life - trying to reconnect with his daughter and develop a relationship with an aging stripper.
