Yellow Dog: Time Machine (2014) - CD

Last year, the band Žlutý Pes celebrated 35 years of its operation to enter the Faust Records recording studio in Dejvice with the new year. The result is an album called The Time Machine, which the band will baptize on April 30, at a concert at the Lucerna Music Bar in Prague.

The album is exceptional in that that it is the golden treasure of the band, songy, with which the Yellow Dog enjoyed its supporters in the eighties, but they never appeared on a musical medium, because at that time the Yellow Dog, together with Jasná Páka and the Prague Selection, belonged among the forbidden artists. “When fate finally gave us a chance, we were already elsewhere“, recalls the band' s frontman Ondřej Hejma.

The authors contribute to the repertoire mainly from its former founders - Hejma and Ivan Hlas. The band also enjoyed three cover versions (Bob Dylan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet). The album was produced by Luboš Malina, who is also a guest on the album with Druhá Tráva, Steve Walsh and Lukáš Martinek participated in the mixes.
