The main mission of the non - profit organization You are not alone - a mobile hospice, from. at. is to provide mobile hospice care around Olomouc. It is a highly specialized medical and health palliative care, which focuses primarily on social and human assistance, support for patients in the terminal stage of the disease so that they can leave with dignity in the home environment of their closest friends and family. The mobile hospice is focused on providing care to both adults and the smallest and most vulnerable, ie pediatric patients and their families.
In the Olomouc region, only an inpatient hospice (Sv. Kopeček near Olomouc), but there was no mobile facility in the whole region. Therefore, a group of citizens who have long been involved in this area decided to establish a registered institution that would provide highly socially beneficial services. Mgr. Martin Steiner, Ph. D. D. (CEO of EDUKOL educational and consulting association with. r. o. ), Vice-Chairman Mgr. Martin Bednar, Ph. D. D. (director of CARITAS - Higher Vocational Social School Olomouc) and a member of MUDr. Lumir Kantor, Ph. D. D. (head of the Neonatal Department at the Olomouc University Hospital).
Since 2018, the organization has been a contractual facility for VZP ČR and Revírní bratrská pokladna, zdravotní pojišťovna, ZP Škoda, Oborovou zdrav. insurance company and the Czech Industrial Health. insurance company. It organizes accompanying activities for patients, their families and survivors so that hospice care can be provided comprehensively - so that it includes care for the physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones.

It also holds regular Survivors' Meetings.
