You can have it all, just not all at once

We women suffer from a dangerous and sometimes debilitating malady called unrealistic expectations. We go around the world with an idea of what we should be, what we should achieve and what we should look like in doing so.
We should raise good and smart children that we can be proud of. Build a great career.

To continually develop a partner relationship full of passion and support. Have strong friendships, be active and positive. When necessary, bake muffins for the whole nursery. Take care of the household, have a home like a box and look great while doing it.

We are helping to spread this epidemic by each of us trying to pretend everything is fine. We're stressed and sleep-deprived. We feel like we can't handle anything. We're not doing what we really want to do. And we're tired. Damn tired.

We're trying to have it all, but we're going about it all wrong. Because people confuse what it means „ have everything“ and „ do everything“. Neither you nor I can do everything on our own. And that's what this book is about.

I want you to figure out what you really want in your life, what makes you happy, what fulfills and calms you. So that after reading the book you can focus on what is really important to you and put aside everything that is not in line with your dreams and desires.
