You can tell from the kisses
Gareth St. Clair is in quite a pickle. His father has disinherited him, and all he's left with is an old family diary, which may hold the secrets of his past and the key to his future. Unfortunately, it's written in Italian, of which Gareth doesn't know a single word. Hyacinth Bridgerton is a girl Gareth thinks is best avoided, but she happens to speak Italian. When the two meet by chance, Gareth persuades Hyacinth to promise she'll translate the diary for him. As they delve into the mysterious text, they discover that the answers aren't in the diary, but in each other. And that nothing is as simple – or as complicated – as a single, perfect kiss.
