Youth in Shit 3 - Young Man in Exile

When Nick's family falls apart, the city is on fire and all the exits are blocked by the police, this rebellious teenager must cope with economic hardship, homelessness, "the gulag of education", a competitive father and incipient baldness. Throughout it all, he's constantly trying to outwit "affectionate asshole" Trent Preston, his sorority mate. Paradoxically, on this journey he finds above all a general joy of life and compassion - both very contagious! When you read this great comic epic of -teen angst, be prepared to laugh out loud. Recommended for anyone who has ever survived adolescence.
