Zapadákov - DVD

It's 1959, Kit (Martin Sheen) has murdered several people and his new girlfriend Holly (Sissy Spacek) was there. To escape punishment, they flee through South Dakota and Montana, pretending nothing happened. But the guilt is too great and can haunt you at every turn.

Zapadakow is the first of three major films by writer/director Terrence Malick (Days of Heaven, 1978 and The Thin Red Line, 1998) inspired by the true, horrific story of the 1958 murders in the American Midwest. Malick imaginatively transforms the story into a provocative study of people alienated from ordinary life. Beautifully shot and memorably acted, this is a cinematic journey through Zapadakovo.
