Žbirka Miro: miro (2x CD) - CD

“Miro“ - so named double-LP and double CD that Miro Žbirka recorded across the Abbey Road studios.

Today, Miro Žbirka knows the way to the world' s most famous music studio - London' s Abbey Road - by heart. At first, his steps followed here like tourists, and he only dreamed of what it might be like.

The story of the creation of the LP and CD MIRO began with a birthday present in the form of a song recorded in Studio 2 in Abbey Road, continued with friendship with local producer Rob Cass, who is also behind the film hit with Fair Play, and ended with collaborations with legends such as Manfred Mann and Pete. Brown on the latest double album MIRO .

All the songs were written by Miro himself. The English lyrics were performed by the court lyricist of the band Cream, beatnik and poet, author of many well-known songs such as “Sunshine Of Your Love“ - Pete Brown.
It was he who was interested in the matter that decided that the whole half of the record was filmed in English. He wrote the lyrics of Miro Žbirka himself on the Slovak part of the album and his long-time collaborator, poet and lyricist Kamil Peteraj wrote two words for him.

Mecca adds to this project with a smile: “ After 25 years, my album is coming out on a black vinyl record again and I' m glad I didn' t drop the turntable. For connoisseurs, it' s a completely different sound and, of course, the cover also stands out artistically, with dozens of photos from Abbey Road Studios. ”
