Zdeněk Petr: He can do this and he can do that - CD

The CD was released on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of composer Zdeněk Petr.

Not only the "Song for Kristinka", but also the cult lyrical song "Good Night" and numerous melodies from the musical comedy "One Hundred Ducats for Juan" will certainly come to mind when you say the name Zdeněk Petr.
He was an acknowledged expert on the works of Jaroslav Ježek and was one of the composers with a wide creative range and great experience. His insight into jazz, symphonic, operatic, operetta and entertainment music of all genres was admirable. He was a versatile personality and was able to write both simple songs for children as well as composed and highly stylized stage music for theatrical performances.
