Zdenka Procházková: On stage between Prague and Vienna

Actress Zdenka Procházková shone on Prague theatre stages in the 1950s and 1960s. The beginnings of her artistic career were greatly influenced by Karel Höger, who was her husband for seventeen years. They starred together in many films and had great success on stage with the conversational play Dear Liar. After 1968 there were no more roles for Zdenka Procházková on the Czech stage, but she made up for the lack of interest in Prague in Vienna, where she was very popular. In her reading, Zdenka Procházková recalls her rich life, her husband and her acting colleagues, and the roles she has played at home and abroad.
