Confessions of an Inquisitor

Dark Trials

Forget THE HAMMER OF THE WITCHES, now there is THE CONFESSION OF AN INQUISITOR! A grim story set against the backdrop of the Šumperk-Losiny inquisition trials at the end of the “dark” 17th century. Murders, theft, fornication. František Ferdinand Gaup, a man who got a taste of power, betrayed himself and his friends, and sold his soul to hell, to the demon of greed. Was he merely a cog in the machine, as he himself claims, or was his part much more significant than he was willing to admit? The confession of an assessor of the witch trials, full of senseless cruelty, conceals nothing.
