The Mercusys MB118-4G LTE WiFi modem is an outdoor router that connects to the internet via the 4G LTE mobile network with download speeds of up to 150Mb/s. It uses Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) in the 2.4GHz band for connection sharing, offering a transfer speed of up to 300Mb/s and serving up to 32 devices. Its IP65-rated construction with surge and electrostatic discharge protection ensures reliable operation in demanding outdoor conditions. After inserting a nano-SIM card, the device is ready to use without any further configuration. The outdoor LTE router is designed to provide coverage for outdoor areas such as gardens, terraces, or outdoor cafés. It can connect up to 32 devices simultaneously, which is sufficient for smaller events or shared workspaces. The MERCUSYS mobile app for Android and iOS phones makes managing the network and connected clients easy.

The Mercusys MB118-4G LTE WiFi modem uses 4G LTE technology to achieve download speeds of up to 150Mb/s. For the wireless network, it operates with the Wi-Fi 4 standard (802.11n) in the 2.4GHz band, where it reaches speeds of up to 300Mb/s. A stable connection is supported by two external detachable antennas, which can be replaced with more powerful variants to boost the signal if needed.
Durability and security
The Mercusys MB118-4G LTE WiFi modem is built for reliable outdoor operation. It offers IP65-class protection against water and dust and operates in a temperature range of -30°C to 60°C. Electronics protection includes ±6kV surge protection and ±15kV electrostatic discharge protection. Network security is handled by WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK encryption, an integrated firewall, and access control features.
Connectivity and power supply
The connectivity of the Mercusys MB118-4G LTE WiFi modem includes one WAN/LAN port with a speed of 100Mbit. Installation is simplified by flexible PoE power, which supports 802.3af/at standards with a range of up to 100 metres and passive PoE with a range of up to 30 metres. Alternatively, a conventional DC adapter can be used. The package includes a mounting kit that allows it to be attached to a pole, wall, or window.
