Automation that works with the hob
The Con@ctivity feature provides a high level of comfort for everyday cooking. The MIELE DAH 2960 Escala cooker hood automatically responds to the hob's settings and adjusts the extraction power to the current situation. This makes operation more convenient, smoother, and eliminates the need for manual adjustments.
ComfortControl for convenient operation
The DAH 2960 Escala model is equipped with ComfortControl electronic controls, which contribute to simple and intuitive operation. A practical part of the equipment is also the remote control option, which lets you conveniently regulate the fan, run-on time, and lighting.
Edge extraction for a clean look and efficient filtration
The cooker hood uses edge extraction, where the grease filters are concealed by a panel. This solution looks more elegant while maintaining efficient capture of vapours and grease. The result is a cleaner appliance appearance and a more pleasant overall impression in the kitchen.
10-layer stainless steel grease filter for efficient filtration
An efficient 10-layer stainless steel grease filter takes care of capturing grease, excelling with its high degreasing capacity and being easy to clean in the dishwasher. A practical solution that simplifies maintenance and helps keep the cooker hood in good condition long-term.
CleanCover for easier cleaning and greater safety
The interior of the cooker hood is equipped with the Miele CleanCover system. The enclosed, smooth surface prevents contact with cables and the motor, contributing to safer operation and easier cleaning. This makes maintaining the cooker hood more convenient and quicker.
LED worktop lighting
The workspace under the cooker hood is illuminated by an LED light with a power of 1× 3.2W, an intensity of 300lx, and a colour temperature of 3500K. The lighting is uniform and pleasant for everyday cooking, while also ensuring good visibility when working on the hob.
Performance for normal and more intensive cooking
MIELE DAH 2960 Escala offers 3 power levels and 1 intensive setting. In extraction mode, it achieves an output of up to 415m³/h on level 3 and up to 675m³/h on the intensive setting, so it can handle even more intensive cooking. The noise level remains pleasantly low from just 41dB(A) on level 1, is 53dB(A) on level 3, and reaches 65dB(A) on the intensive setting.
Ready for extraction and recirculation
The MIELE DAH 2960 Escala cooker hood is designed to be convertible, so it can operate in both extraction mode and, after modification, in recirculation mode. For recirculation, you need to purchase a DKF 29 charcoal filter, so you can adapt the solution to your specific kitchen and its installation options.
Safety switch-off for greater peace of mind
The equipment also includes a safety switch-off feature that automatically turns off the cooker hood after 10 hours if it is accidentally left running. A practical element that contributes to more secure and worry-free use in daily operation.
