CleanSteel – stainless steel with fingerprint protection
Miele CleanSteel stainless steel control panels feature a specially treated surface that reduces the visibility of fingerprints. The surface is also very easy to clean and does not require special cleaning agents. This helps the MIELE G 5611 SCi Active dishwasher maintain its elegant appearance over the long term, making maintenance quick and easy.
Fast and efficient washing with the QuickPowerWash programme
The QuickPowerWash programme, combined with UltraTabs All in 1 tablets, delivers perfectly washed and dry dishes in approximately 58 minutes. The specially developed tablets dissolve in the MIELE G 5611 SCi Active dishwasher within 2–3 minutes, so the cleaning action starts immediately, making the entire washing process maximally effective from the very first moments.
Dishwasher with advanced AutoOpen drying
The AutoOpen technology automatically opens the door of the MIELE G 5611 SCi Active dishwasher after the programme is finished. This allows the accumulated steam to escape naturally, promoting perfect drying of the dishes, including plastic items. A specially designed system also protects the worktop from moisture and, together with optimised air circulation, ensures maximum drying efficiency in this model.
Comfort basket system for flexible dish arrangement
The Comfort system offers a practical and well-thought-out interior layout for the MIELE G 5611 SCi Active dishwasher. The original Miele cutlery tray washes your cutlery thoroughly yet gently. The height-adjustable upper basket, combined with the MultiComfort area in the lower basket, ensures a variable arrangement for different types of dishes, so every item has a stable and secure place. In addition, the colourful FlexAssist elements help you quickly identify the movable parts and make optimal use of the basket space.
MIELE G 5611 SCi Active holds up to 14 place settings
The MIELE G 5611 SCi Active dishwasher comfortably holds up to 14 place settings. The baskets are designed with flexibility and efficiency in mind, so every piece of dishware finds its place and all items are perfectly clean and dry after washing. Thanks to the FlexAssist elements, storing cutlery and smaller items is quick, intuitive, and highly practical.
EcoPower technology for economical washing
The ECO programme reduces water consumption to just 8.4 litres, which also reduces the amount of energy needed for heating. Water savings are made possible by a cleverly designed water inlet system and a highly efficient filter system. Additional insulation minimises heat loss and, together with optimised water flow, contributes to even lower energy consumption and maximum washing efficiency.
MIELE G 5611 SCi Active CleanSteel washes exclusively with fresh water
The MIELE G 5611 SCi Active CleanSteel uses only fresh water, and in the Automatic programme, it washes dishes with just 6 litres of water, which is less than the volume of a standard kitchen sink. Thanks to this technology, water consumption has been reduced by up to 85%, and electricity consumption has also decreased. In the ECO programme, the dishwasher achieves a record-low value of just 0.52kWh, ensuring maximum energy and water savings.
Wash programmes for every occasion
The Miele G 5611 SCi Active CleanSteel offers a wide range of programmes and additional functions, covering various washing needs. The selectable programmes ensure flexible and efficient washing for different types of dishes and situations – whether you need an economy cycle, an intensive wash, or a quick wash.
- Automatic – a universal programme suitable for normally soiled mixed dishes; it adjusts the washing parameters according to the level of soiling.
- ECO economy programme – with minimal water and energy consumption, ideal for everyday washing of normally used dishes.
- Intensive 75°C – a more powerful washing programme for durable and heavily soiled items, such as pots and pans.
- PowerWash 60°C – a quick and efficient programme for normal dishes with normal food residues.
- QuickPowerWash – a programme for the best washing and drying results for normally soiled dishes in approximately 58 minutes; created from PowerWash 60°C with the additional Quick function.
- Gentle – a gentle programme for delicate glass and sensitive dishes.
- Express – an option to reduce the washing time by up to 50% for quick results with a smaller load.
- Extra clean – an optional function that increases cleaning performance without compromising on wash quality.
- Extra dry – an option for more intensive drying, so even glasses and plastic items are dry after the cycle.
FlexAssist for quick and easy basket adjustment
The FlexAssist markings show which basket elements can be moved or adjusted according to your current needs. Coloured symbols, such as a cup or a wine glass, indicate the optimal use for that area. They also serve as practical handles, enabling you to immediately use the basket's full flexibility and conveniently adapt the space in the MIELE G 5611 SCi Active CleanSteel dishwasher for different types of dishes.
ComfortClose for easy door opening and closing
The door of the MIELE G 5611 SCi Active dishwasher opens and closes with exceptional ease, making it comfortable and effortless to handle. What's more, it remains stable in any position you choose—whether the door is slightly ajar for quick access to your dishes or fully open when loading and unloading the baskets. This feature enhances comfort during daily use of the dishwasher.
Brilliant GlassCare for perfect glassware care
The Brilliant GlassCare system ensures exceptionally gentle washing for fragile glassware. The Gentle programme operates at a low temperature of 45°C, so even thin glasses are protected throughout the entire wash cycle. Wine glasses can be securely placed in the FlexCare holder with silicone inserts, which holds them firmly in place during washing. After the programme finishes, the patented AutoOpen function automatically opens the door, allowing the dishes to dry naturally without the need for subsequent hand-polishing. To ensure optimal care, specially formulated detergents with a glass-protection formula help keep your glasses shiny and damage-free.
The Miele dishwasher can be connected to a hot water supply
The MIELE G 5611 SCi Active can be connected to a hot water supply of up to 60°C. This connection reduces electricity consumption by up to 35% and shortens the wash programme time by up to 10%. In the ECO programme, the dishwasher's electricity consumption drops to as low as 0.29kWh, ensuring ecological and economical operation.
MIELE G 5611 SCi Active has a Waterproof System for maximum safety
The Waterproof System (WPS) is equipped with a second solenoid valve directly on the water tap, which automatically shuts off the water supply if the first valve fails. The double-walled inlet hose provides an additional layer of safety for the MIELE G 5611 SCi Active dishwasher—if the inner hose is damaged, water is channelled through the outer hose into the dishwasher's sump, minimising the risk of water leakage and ensuring reliable and safe operation.
Tested for a 20-year lifespan
The MIELE G 5611 SCi Active dishwasher was tested during its development to last for 20 years of regular use. During the testing phase, the model and its key components underwent 5600 wash cycles (equivalent to an average of 280 cycles per year for 20 years) across various programmes—day and night—to verify their reliability and long-term performance. Thanks to this thorough testing, you can be confident of excellent washing and drying results throughout the appliance's entire lifespan, year after year.
Effective against viruses – scientifically proven
The MIELE G 5611 SCi Active dishwasher has a scientifically verified high level of hygiene. During the washing process, more than 99.9% of viruses are removed, ensuring safe and perfectly clean dishes. This feature provides reliable protection and promotes a healthy home environment where hygiene is a priority.
