Up to 50% less ironing
Refresh your laundry and reduce the need for ironing by up to 50% thanks to the SteamCare system that the MIELE WQ 1200 WPS Nova Edition washing machine boasts. This system offers two main programmes and one additional one: the PowerFresh programme is ideal for refreshing and smoothing laundry, while the Pre-ironing programme is for wet or freshly washed textiles. It effectively removes unpleasant odours, such as cigarette smoke, and significantly reduces creasing. As an optional feature, you can add Extra Pre-ironing to various programmes, which smooths the laundry immediately after the wash is finished.
Minimum consumption, maximum effect
The Miele WQ 1200 WPS Nova Edition washing machine is equipped with the FlexLoad function, which cleverly optimises water, electricity and wash cycle duration. Thanks to advanced load recognition, it can accurately assess the amount of laundry and automatically adjust all parameters. Each programme thus runs only for as long as is absolutely necessary, without any loss of washing efficiency, and can be shortened by up to two hours. This means your laundry is washed efficiently, you save time and resources, and you also help protect the environment.
Wash a few items of clothing guilt-free
Need to wash just one or two items of clothing? With the Miele WQ 1200 WPS Nova Edition washing machine and its additional SingleWash function, you can wash them quickly and guilt-free. This function is designed for exactly these situations, shortening the wash cycle duration and optimising water and energy consumption. Enjoy convenience and savings without compromising on wash quality.
Save up to 65% on energy costs
Thanks to the water connection on the Miele WQ 1200 WPS Nova Edition washing machine, you can easily contribute to sustainability. A second connection enables the use of well water or rainwater for washing, which saves precious drinking water. If you use solar technology to heat your water, you can reduce the energy costs needed for heating by up to 65%. In this way, you not only protect the environment but also save money.
Keep your consumption under control
Miele washing machines are designed to minimise energy consumption and achieve top-class energy efficiency. They will surprise you with great washing results on short programmes. Some models exceed the highest energy efficiency class A by more than 20%, including the MIELE WQ 1200 WPS Nova Edition. Thanks to the Consumption Dashboard function, you can monitor and optimise your energy consumption as needed. After the programme finishes, you will receive a consumption report that takes the specific load into account.
Economical, powerful and almost maintenance-free DuraLife motor
Miele's DuraLife inverter motor combines high performance with economical and quiet operation. Thanks to its electronic control and a design without carbon brushes, it operates with virtually no wear and tear, which contributes to its long service life. The innovative design also supports efficient, reliable and convenient laundry care for many years to come. Patent EP 2 840 679.
The right detergent for every application
Choose from a diverse range of special Miele detergents and fabric softeners, such as ImpraProtect, Cotton Repair or Booster for tough stains. CapDosing capsules are made from 100% recycled plastic and contain a precisely balanced amount of detergent that is released on contact with water. This prevents under- or overdosing. If needed, the capsules can be easily opened using the practical pull-tab.

You can conveniently remove it at any time during the washing process. Simply press the Start/Add laundry button to use this feature.
Elegance and functionality in one

This also includes managing features like Care Assistant, Hygiene Assistant, AddLoad and Time Assistant. With CareAssistant, you can extend the anti-crease protection up to three times by 30 minutes, keeping your laundry fresh even if you have to wait longer. HygieneAssistant informs you when the appliance needs cleaning, ensuring perfect cleanliness with frequent low-temperature washes. AddLoad provides the flexibility to add laundry during a cycle, which is visible on both the appliance and in the app. TimeAssistant provides up-to-date information on washing times. Convenient operation and top results
With the Miele WQ 1200 WPS Nova Edition washing machine, you can leave the selection of the right settings to the appliance itself. SmartMatic® technology automatically adjusts the washing parameters according to the amount of laundry, ensuring that water, energy, and detergent are used efficiently for every kilo of laundry. This means you can wash even smaller loads ecologically and with peace of mind. Simply select the programme and the washing machine takes care of the rest.
Excellent quality and long life
Some car engines are tested for 3000 hours; Miele tests the performance of its washing machines for up to 10000 hours. Testing is carried out day and night with a comprehensive and precise approach, so you can enjoy perfect results year after year.
Waterproof System (WPS)
The WPS system has a double solenoid valve directly on the tap. If the first valve fails, the second valve shuts off the water supply. For maximum safety, the inlet hose is double-walled. If the inner hose is damaged, water will flow through the outer hose into the base tray. Similar to WCS, the WPS system also has intelligent sensors that shut off the water supply upon detecting a leak. Safety features also include a child lock.
Water damage protection guarantee
Miele offers a 20-year guarantee on all its water protection systems, safeguarding your home. In the event of material damage resulting from a fault in this system, you are automatically insured. Miele will cover the cost of the damage under the terms of the water protection system guarantee. However, it is important that the installation is carried out by a professional.
