The coffee beans are roasted using a gentle and slow method in rotating drums (Trommelröstung). Thanks to the longer roasting time at lower temperatures, the beans are stripped of harsh acids and unpleasant bitterness. This brings out warm notes of dark cocoa, chocolate, and delicate spices in the flavour. Thanks to its more intense profile, Espresso Tradition coffee performs brilliantly in any coffee machine and is suitable for espresso and ristretto. It provides a proper dose of energy with a rich, persistent crema. For milky drinks (Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato), the strong coffee flavour is not lost even when combined with frothed milk. For automatic and lever coffee machines, this is a universal bean optimised for smooth grinding and extraction.
