Power system
The processor power supply uses a 14+1+1+1 Duet Rail Power phase system with 55A DrMOS and Core Boost technology. The board uses two 8-pin connectors for CPU power and one additional 8-pin connector for PCIe interface power. A stable power supply prevents unwanted voltage drops during intensive system load. The PCB design contains 6 layers with a 2-ounce copper content. All power connectors have solid pins for more reliable current transfer.
DDR5 RAM
The board offers 4 DDR5 UDIMM memory module slots with support for a total capacity of up to 256GB. The motherboard supports Intel XMP 3.0 profiles, which enables easy overclocking. The memory modules operate in Dual-Channel mode at high frequency. The architecture also supports modern CUDIMM memory modules.
Fast data storage
For connecting hard drives and SSDs, there are 4 M.2 slots and 4 SATA III connectors. The first M.2_1 slot takes lanes directly from the processor and fully supports the PCIe 5.0 ×4 interface with a throughput of up to 128 Gb/s. Fast data transfer shortens loading times in applications and games. The other three M.2 slots use the PCIe 4.0 ×4 interface from the chipset. You can connect drives in these slots and on the SATA ports into RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, and RAID 10 arrays.
Graphics cards and expansion slots
The motherboard carries a total of 3 PCI Express x16 slots and 1 PCI Express x1 slot. The main PCIe 5.0 ×16 slot communicates directly with the processor to take full advantage of modern graphics cards. The steel reinforcement of the slot protects against damage from heavy graphics cards. The remaining two PCIe x16 slots operate in PCIe 4.0 ×4 mode via the chipset.
Network interface
Network connectivity is provided by the Intel Killer E5000 wired controller with a throughput of 5 Gb/s. Wireless transfers are handled by the integrated Wi-Fi 6E module with a theoretical speed of up to 2.4 Gb/s. The wireless module operates in three frequency bands, specifically 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz. The board also offers a Bluetooth version 5.3 wireless interface.
Cooling system and protective features
Cooling of the power delivery system is ensured by an extended heatsink with thermal pads rated at 7W/mK. M.2 SSDs are protected by passive EZ M.2 Shield Frozr II heatsinks to maintain optimal operating temperatures. Diagnostic LEDs instantly detect the source of any problems when starting the computer. The board has an integrated I/O shield for easier installation into the case.
