How does MUCOSOLVAN work?

How to dose?
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 3 times a day 5 ml
Children from 6 to 12 years: 2-3 times a day 2.5 ml
Children from 2 to 5 years: 3 times a day 1.25 ml
Children from 1 to 2 years: 2 times a day 1.25 ml

Dosage and method of use
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age take 5 ml of syrup 3 times a day. Efficacy can be increased by administering 10 ml of syrup 2 times a day (equivalent to 120 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride per day). The quantities are dosed with the included measuring cup. Mucosolvan syrup for adults is administered with meals.
Contraindications
Do not take MUCOSOLVAN for adults if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to ambroxol or any of the excipients in the medicine. It is not recommended to take the product in pregnancy, especially in the first 3 months. Since ambroxol hydrochloride is excreted in breast milk, it is not recommended that breastfeeding mothers take the product.
Storage
Keep this product out of sight and reach of children. Store at temperatures up to 25 °C. Avoid exposure to excessively high temperatures or freezing temperatures. Store the medicine in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the box. The expiry date shall be the last day of the month indicated.
