Timely and accurate CO detection
Unlike conventional detectors, the advanced electrochemical sensor is designed to accurately measure low levels of carbon monoxide (CO) and provide an early warning on the LCD display before the acoustic warning of dangerous CO levels. A rapid response to rising CO levels is provided by smart sensor technology which, upon any detection above 180 ppm CO, enables the activation of a high sensitivity mode with a prediction of rising CO levels for faster alerting and activates an indication to open windows, ventilate the room thus minimizing the risk of CO poisoning and preventing the accumulation of dangerous levels of carbon monoxide. Thanks to the automatic diagnostic check, the sensor continuously verifies its functionality and immediately signals any malfunction. In addition, it is also able to warn when it has reached the end of its life.
Environmental warning function
In standby mode, the LCD screen displays the current room temperature in degrees Celsius (°C) or warns of dangerously low or high humidity or ambient temperature conditions. The multifunction LCD display then changes colour to indicate different warnings and at the same time gives the user the impulse to react accordingly to the situation. The night mode sensor is able to automatically detect that it is night and then dim the brightness of the optical signaling or acoustic signaling in case of low power supply capacity.

The design of the device allows the device to operate without the need for fixed anchoring, and thus becomes portable with the possibility of simple and stable placement on a horizontal surface (for example, on a bedside table, shelf, etc.). Carbon monoxide is a colourless gas, tasteless and odourless, which is produced by the misfiring of fossil fuels, like coal, oil, natural gas, LPG, coal and wood.
